Max Armstrong has worked in property since 2006, initially managing North East residential assets for a London-based investment fund before establishing his own property and investment businesses across the region.
He is Director of North East Property Investment, which manages over 400 residential and social housing properties, and Co-Director of North East Help, a supported living and care provider focused on high-quality accommodation and support for vulnerable young people and adults.
He is also the founder and owner of North East Social Housing. Over the past 15 years, Max has sourced, developed and managed over 1,000 residential and social housing properties across the North East and North West, working with housing associations, local authorities, registered providers and care organisations to deliver a range of housing projects, from eco-friendly social housing developments to specialist supported accommodation for tenants with complex needs.
Max is also a trustee of NEHA and a regular contributor to the Daily Telegraph on property-related matters. His focus is on using property development and investment to deliver high-quality housing with long-term social impact, while building sustainable, asset-backed property portfolios.
