Max Armstrong
Max Armstrong has worked in property since 2006, initially managing North East residential assets for a London-based investment fund before establishing his own property and investment businesses across the region.
He is Director of North East Property Investment, which manages over 400 residential and social housing properties, and Co-Director of North East Help, a supported living and care provider focused on high-quality accommodation and support for vulnerable young people and adults.
He is also the founder and owner of North East Social Housing. Over the past 15 years, Max has sourced, developed and managed over 1,000 residential and social housing properties across the North East and North West, working with housing associations, local authorities, registered providers and care organisations to deliver a range of housing projects, from eco-friendly social housing developments to specialist supported accommodation for tenants with complex needs.
Max is also a trustee of NEHA and a regular contributor to the Daily Telegraph on property-related matters. His focus is on using property development and investment to deliver high-quality housing with long-term social impact, while building sustainable, asset-backed property portfolios.


Natalie Dewey
Director of Supported Living | North East Social Housing
Natalie brings over 15 years of experience within the social care and supported living sectors. A qualified Social Worker since 2016, she has built an extensive career delivering, managing and developing high-quality services for vulnerable children, young people and adults, while maintaining her professional registration and commitment to best practice.
Throughout her career, Natalie has held senior leadership positions including Registered Manager, Area Manager, Safeguarding Lead and Head of Operations, overseeing supported accommodation services and working closely with local authorities, Ofsted, commissioners and care providers. She has also supported organisations in establishing new supported living services, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting high standards of care and governance.
As Director of Supported Living at North East Social Housing, Natalie provides the specialist operational insight that underpins every development. Working closely with care providers, Registered Providers, housing associations and local authorities, she ensures our properties are designed around the practical needs of service users and the organisations that support them.
Her expertise enables North East Social Housing to bridge the gap between high-quality property development and frontline care delivery, ensuring every scheme is compliant, operationally effective and capable of delivering meaningful long-term social impact.
Natalie works alongside the development team from the earliest stages of a project, advising on layout, specification, operational requirements and regulatory considerations to ensure accommodation is genuinely fit for purpose and supports the best possible outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
Her passion has remained constant throughout her career: to ensure every individual has access to safe, high-quality accommodation that provides the stability, dignity and support needed to build confidence, develop independence and achieve their full potential.
